Established in 2019

The Shelby’s Way Grocery Program was founded in 2019 to address one of life’s most essential needs, access to nutritious food. Since its beginning, the program has served thousands of individuals and families by providing free, healthy groceries in a welcoming and compassionate environment. We believe access to nutritious food does more than fill a pantry. It strengthens health, eases financial burdens, and creates opportunities for individuals and families to thrive.

Each weekly distribution provides a variety of fresh produce, dairy products, breads, proteins, pantry staples, and other nutritious foods based on availability. By increasing access to healthy food, we help families stretch their grocery budgets while supporting their overall well being and long term stability.

Ray’s Closet is dedicated to restoring dignity by providing clothing and everyday essentials that help individuals and families navigate life’s daily challenges with confidence. We believe everyone deserves access to clean clothing, shoes, personal care items, diapers, toiletries, and other basic necessities that promote health, self respect, and well being.

Through clothing, footwear, hygiene products, diapers, toiletries, and other essential items, Ray’s Closet helps remove everyday barriers while empowering individuals and families to move forward with confidence, dignity, and hope.

Following August 8, Ray’s Closet will be available twice each month.

Building Minds. Inspiring Futures.

The Be Great Literacy Corner is dedicated to inspiring a lifelong love of reading and learning. We believe literacy opens doors to opportunity, builds confidence, and strengthens communities. Through free books, literacy resources, and future reading and tutoring opportunities, we encourage children, youth, and families to grow their knowledge, expand their imagination, and develop the skills needed for lifelong success.

Our goal is to promote educational growth by creating access to books, encouraging consistent reading habits, and fostering a passion for learning that extends beyond the classroom. We believe every book has the power to inspire, every reader has the ability to grow, and every child deserves the opportunity to succeed.
